You can read Document, write to Document, and create Document with Google Docs in Sim. Each runs as a tool inside an AI agent block, so an agent can chain Google Docs with services like Linear and Rippling and apply LLM reasoning between steps.

Connecting Google Docs takes about five minutes: (1) Create a free account at sim.ai. (2) Create an agent in your workspace. (3) Drag a Google Docs block onto the workflow builder. (4) Connect your Google Docs account with one-click OAuth — no credentials to copy. (5) Pick a tool such as "Read Document", wire up its inputs, and click Run — your agent is live.

Add a Google Docs block to your agent and select "Read Document" as the tool. Read content from a Google Docs document. Fill in the required fields — inputs can reference outputs from earlier steps, such as text generated by an AI block or data fetched from another integration. No code is required.
